If you’re downgrading your plan, the downgrade will take effect at the end of the request month. Adjustments / charges will be reflected on your upcoming bill.
For example:
Benjamin is on a 100GB plan at $38 per month and downgrades to a 30GB Plan on 31 May 2022. (plan downgrades take effect on the last day of the month)
The 30GB Plan is $25 per month.
Here’s what their next bill will look like:
- Pro-rated bill for their new plan for the remaining days of this month
- (plus) Full bill for their new plan for the following month
- (minus) Pro-rated bill for their old plan up until the day they confirmed their upgrade
Monthly Plan Subscription
May 2022: $25 / 31 days x 1 days (pro-rated bill for new plan) = $0.81
June 2022 (full bill for new plan): $25
Adjustments
Refund Advance Charge (unused portion of old plan) = $38 / 31 days x 1 day = $1.23
Total Bill Amount
Total Bill Amount = $0.81 + $25 - $1.23 = $24.58
