Difference between Data Boost and Data Add-on

Data Boosts This is a one-time purchase and activates only when you choose to add it. It’s not recurring. You can add this as many times as you want, whenever you need it. Boosts are charged immediately to your credit/debit card on file. Click here for more information on Data Boost Options. 

Data Add-on (10GB for $10): This is a recurring purchase and activates immediately. Once activated, it gets added to your plan every month until you turn it off. When you turn it off, it only applies from the next month onwards.

When you turn it on for the first time, Add-on charges* will be reflected in your next bill along with the charge for the following month’s Add-on. In your bills after that, you will just be charged for your Add-on for the following month.

*Please note that when you turn it at the middle of the month, your Add-on charges will be prorated to the date of activation but data will be received in full.

**The data Add-on is only available on the old 20GB and 100GB plans (purchased before 7 Oct 2021) and is not available on the old 8GB plan (purchased before 7 Oct 2021) and all new plan offerings - 5GB, 30GB, 50GB, 100GB and 160GB (purchased after 7 Oct 2021).
